This article covers the functionality of the Location module. Locations are the physical areas where assets are placed.
When creating an asset, one of the fields that is selected is the location where the asset belongs to. Through the lifecycle of the asset, the location may change and can be updated by doing a Transfer transaction. Similarly, when doing an Inventory, the user would select the Location and TagMatiks AT Lite would use that location to specify the expected items for the count.
1. Open the TagMatiks AT Lite application and login into it.
2. Click on the “Location” Button as shown in the image below.
3. On the Location, you will be able to see the list of already created Locations. To create a new Location, click on the + icon on the top right-hand side of the application.
4. On the Location creation page, enter the name of the location and click on save.
5. The new Location should display on the Part Location page and can be used when creating a Location as highlighted in image below.
6. For creating a Sub location, click on Location Name.
7. Click on the “Add Location” Button for creating a Sub location
8. Please enter the location name, Display Code and click on the “Save” button.
9. A new popup window will appear stating that “Location details saved successfully.
10. The new Sub Location should display on the Location page and can be used when creating a Location as highlighted in image below.
