Using the Import Tool

Summary

The import tool is designed to help bring in existing data into TagMatiks AT Lite. Due to the nature of mobile applications, the Import Tool is a web based component that works in conjunction with the mobile application to help import data.

Pre-requisites

Access to the internet is required for using the import tool. Specifically, the iOS device should be able to access https://atl.tagmatiks.com . In addition, access to a computer with a modern web browser is also required. We suggest using Chrome, Internet Explorer (Edge), Firefox or Safari.

Navigating to the Import Tool

Click on the Settings Tab
Scroll to Admin Settings
Click on Import Data

Steps to Get Started

Once on the Import Data module, using a computer, navigate to https://atl.tagmatiks.com After the page loads, on the mobile application, click the Scan to scan the QR code that generates on the web page.

If you don’t have the ability to scan the QR code, you can also click on the box next to Enter Access Code to enter the code that is displayed on the web page.

After successfully scanning the barcode/ entering the access code, the session between the mobile application and the web browser will be created.

On the web browser, choose the module you’d like to import data. After selecting a module, you can download a template for that module. A reference is provided below for each module Click Browse to upload and file and finally click Import Data to bring the data in. If successfully imported, the import tool will import the data to the mobile application.

Once completed, you can close the connection from either mobile application or the web browser.
